Nice Graphics and 70's;
Let's empathize together. I wasn't even born in the 70s. However, my father was a government road worker, employed as an asphalt worker. The enormous oil prices of the 70s may be related to the following issues:
Infrastructure investments, especially highways. Infrastructure, pavement, etc. in regions such as India, Pakistan, Indonesia and Latin America. The car models are too heavy and consume too much fuel. The dawn of the plastic packaging era. Now, saturation may have been reached in many areas. The construction industry absorbs and devours oil. A declining population is not a good sign; a lack of infrastructure investment is also not a good sign (if needed); could the construction sector be slowing down? It never slows down here; I'm from Ayvalık. When I look out my window, I see 6-7 different apartment buildings under construction.

Even though I'm a construction technician, I'm against all this construction. Hopefully, God willing, one day I'll go back to my land and live like a hobbit. Like a vegetarian gardener. Where is the world headed?
During the Ottoman era, in ancient times, the Ayvalık region traded with the Dutch. Olive oil, soap, silk, and beeswax. However, we weren't here at that time; we were still living in Macedonia (or Balkans). I hope Istanbul becomes a trade center. I am also investing there. My only competitor is Turkish Airlines. (anonymous folk saying)

My portfolio;
